Kitchen Window Concert

Get a beer from the cornershop and stop by!

From 2001 to 2010 I played concerts from my kitchen-window for a street-audience. Some friends and musicians joined me over the years. There was a cornershop nearby, where the people gathering outside the window and listening could get beer and cigarettes. The kitchen window was somewhat higher than street-level – so it was a perfect stage. To me, this was an urban version of Treplev´s site-specific theatre in „the seagull“ by Chechov. If I hadn´t played Treplev as an actor in a theatre-show ten years ago, I probably wouldn´t have played these concerts. Chechov inspired me, to do it. Here is a trailer from my last window-concert to date in 2010
